We remember the day Kaylin came into our world, and the day she left it. One thing that is certain to all in our family is that we will cherish the memories we have of her. The short time she spent on earth provides good memories that will, hopefully, fill the void we all feel. Kaylin, as are all babies, was a blessing to us. I guess we take life for granted, in that we expect to live long lives, watch our children grow, watch our grand-children grow and never imagine that everything can change in an instant. When that instance occurs, all you are left with are memories. One memory I will keep of Kaylin is her eyes. Those big, beautiful, deep blue eyes could melt your heart. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. Looking into Kaylin's eyes made me feel there was something extra special about her. Perhaps what I was seeing in her eyes was that her soul was so special, so deep that it was more than her little body could hold. There must have been a need in heaven for an angel with such a beautiful soul, that made God call for her so quickly. I will cherish the beauty of, and within her eyes, forever. Another memory we have is her smile. She was just starting to develope a personality, and when we spoke to her playfully, she smiled as though she was truely enjoying our time together.
